OptoSci's unique gas sensing system, OptoSniff, continuously measures gas concentration levels at single or multiple points distributed along a fibre optic network. While OptoSci can supply complete gas sensing systems, we are also pleased to discuss and consider producing OEM OptoSniff sub-systems for integration into clients' own monitoring and control instruments, or custom systems designed to monitor other gases. General
OptoSci has extensive experience in the design and production of custom and OEM photonics instruments and sub-systems for our worldwide industrial and research clients, based on our laser diode drivers, TEC controllers, photoreceivers, power meters, lock-in amplifiers, signal processing systems, etc (see INSTRUMENTATION for further details). This expertise is particularly evident in the OptoSniff system which combines elements of many of these instrumentation products to produce a unique fibre optic based gas sensing system. OptoSniff has already been applied to monitor methane, carbon dioxide & water vapour in a number of different application areas. However, the system can be designed to measure other gases, and we can also produce OEM OptoSniff sub-systems for integration into clients' own monitoring and control instruments
