With the OSIRIS camera ACC introduces a machinevision camera based on IEEE1394 technology with a standard resolution of 640 x 480 Pixel. The canera is available as grey and as color version. The sensor is a high-quality ProgressiveScan sensor from SONY. So it is possible to get a sharp image of a moved object.
The image data of the CCD sensor are digitized direct in the camera an transfered over the IEEE1394 bus. All camera parameters, framerate and resolution can be controlled over the IEEE1394 bus.
The grey version also allows to set gain and offset over the bus.
In the color version whitebalance and gamma correction can be set.
The interface is designed for 400 MBit. This is enough performance to transfer 30 frames per second with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixel. The camera is designed for applications that need a high framerate.
On the rear of the camera there is a IEEE1394 Plug and a status LED for transfer and activity.
The camera can work with the image formats 640 x 480, 320 x 240, 160 x 120 at 30 frames per second.
For an easy integration of the camera in software projects the ActiveX-Control of ACC is available.
