Bently Nevada provides TÜV-certified tachometer systems and proximity probe transducers suitable for use as part of an overspeed protection system and meeting the stringent requirements for such systems as outlined in the American Petroleum Institute’s Standard 670. Systems are available in both our 3500 Series (recommended) and 3300 Series platforms, and can be provided in either 2-out-of-3 TMR or 2-out-of-2 configurations. These systems feature the ultra-fast response times and redundancy needed in overspeed detection applications. They can be used in stand-alone situations where racks, power supplies, relays, displays, and all other system components are independent of other machinery protection or monitoring functions. When desired, they can also be combined in the same rack with other machinery protection or monitoring functions such as vibration and temperature
