By using cloded loop controled and fine tuned heating cycles in combination with adjustable contact pressure, a reproducible conection between diode laser bar and heatsink can be garanteed. The assembly of lenses of diverse geometry is also possible with this equipmentSoldering station with a temperature range up to 350°C (400°C on request). The temperature ramp will be at least 10K/s.

Automated pick and place of the laser bar onto the heat sink with automatic pick up from gel pack or customized vacuum tray using machine vision.

Active alignment of laser bar to heat sink with an accuracy of +/-1µm. The accuracy will be achieved by using an optical sensor which scans the edges of heat sink and laser bar.

The system enables the supply of formic acid and inert gas.

An automatic gap compensation using tilt alignment stages is implemented
