The portable calibrator Type PPA 2000 is designed to use sources like permeation tubes, diffusions tubes or
saturation devices .
The autonomous portable calibrator enables to generate standard gas in the ppb / % by volume range
(according to the source) for the spot calibration of almost any gas detection and analyzer system.
The PPA 2000 is principally made of a PID temperature controller for the furnace and a flow controller for the
carrier gas . As options, we propose :
- a removable mixing chambers in SS or Teflon (imperative for the saturation devices) .
- the flow regulation by a mass flow controller allowing better accuracy .
- a back pressure regulator instead of the excess valve allowing the generation of span gases under pressure
(useful for diffusion tubes and saturation devices) .
- a zero air generator with his pump and purification cartridges .
- a 12V power supply by battery with an integrated charger .
The portable calibrator Type PPA 2000 must be used exclusively with sources containing substances which
don't react chemically with the carrier gas.
