With the PS 10 palletizing station, GRÄSSLIN is responding to demands in the market that are directed towards individual solutions. Designed as a proven modular system, the PS 10 allows a high degree of customer-specific machine configuration based on high quality components.
Basically the machine is offered in two basic versions: as the basic module for just the tray handling or as an all-round solution together with workpiece handling. The control system is a part of the solution in both cases. Variability of configuration is the main characteristic of the PS 10 design and at the same time means: sizing of the station in line with needs. Only the performance and complexity that is actually needed is implemented – and in the end only that has to be paid for.
Loading of the PS 10 with tray stacks can be performed either manually through a floor roller/carriage or automated via a roller conveyor, as desired. The desired autonomy is the performance target.
The tray handling can be either purely pneumatically or electrically driven according to the required tray changing time. This allows tray changing times of around 15 seconds down to 6 seconds to be achieved according to needs. We construct and manufacture the tray grippers to suit the individual tray geometry.
Line gantry and boom variants are available for the workpiece handling, with workpiece grippers individually designed and manufactured according to a workpiece prototype or drawing.
