PVD coating for longer service life and reduced wear
By acquiring a new Balzers coating system, one of the largest one-off investments in the company's history, Bihler has significantly extended its range of services.
The PVD (Physical Vapour (br.) Deposition) method is used for tool coating. This state-of-the-art technology helps to reduce tool wear, increase tool strength and, consequently, improve productivity.
The new acquisition can be employed for various application- and material-related hard material coating systems and can be used without restrictions by Bihler's customers.
