The pick-to-light LP204 system is based on a very simple and user-friendly concept. Start by identifying the product variant by scanning the bar code (”pick code”) that is linked to the product. The system then lights the pick-to-light buttons at the details to be picked. When a detail has been picked the operator acknowledges by pressing the button. The system can also control a second assembly step, e.g. a torque wrench. When all the steps are correctly performed the system gives a ready signal and the next unit can be received.

While working, the operator receives support from the process interface LP204, as its dis-play and diode lamps shows continual status information and instructions.

The system can handle a total of 32 various pick codes and indicate up to 32 different variants.

System codes
The LP204-system is very smooth to operate – it works entirely stand-alone and does not require any particular programs or computer equipment to be configurated. A sheet with a few system bar codes is all you need to perform all settings.
