Driven by customer demand Moritex Europe has introduced a new low cost industrial endoscope enabling the smallest inaccessible structures to be remotely examined.

Benefiting from Moritex's expertise in optics, fibre-optics and illumination the compact Light Scope MSHS-1000 provides excellent image quality normally only found in much higher priced systems. Robust, reliable and measuring only 5 mm in diameter the battery powered Light Scope is the perfect portable viewing aid for inaccessible and restricted space structures e.g. inside locks, engine valves, nozzles.

Designed to operate over the temperature range 0-60 C the new Light Scope provides a 60-degree angle of view with focal length variable from 10mm to infinity. Fully waterproofed to ensure long-term operational integrity the Light Scope MSHS-1000 is provided as standard with a flexible plastic fibre image guide of 100 centimetres length, integral light source and straight on viewing optical system. To increase the versatility of the low cost system a wide choice of optional accessories are also available.
