Cutting of textiles and plastic films, Trimming of cloth-lined plastic parts, Trimming and cutting of injection molded parts, Drilling and perforing of plastic components. Process advantages :
Ideal technology for the cutting of materials such as skins (PVC, PU…), textiles, plastics (PP, PE, ABS…) up to 10 mm thick. Very thin cut (about 0,4 mm), with high precision level at a high speed (modulation of the laser power). Shortest cycle time and excellent part accessibility by the streamlined upper arm design and the unlimited rotation of axes 4 and 5. CO2 laser source completely integrated into the robot arm : allow access to very complex shapes, and an excellent path accuracy and path repeatability whatever the work speed may have. Examples of parts cut : pillar trims, door panels, insulation parts, vehicle interior parts…
