The creation of this product was initiated by popular demand from our customers. It is unique in design and application. The S-Module is an Insertion Loss (IL) and Return Loss (RL) Standard which is intended to verify the long-term accuracy of optical component test systems. The primary function of this device is to embed traceable standard IL and RL values into your existing long-term optical test systems to ensure continuous accuracy of the IL and RL measurements.

The S-module is designed with single-mode or multimode fiber. Other fiber types are also available as per custom request. The input and output are fiber pigtails and may be ordered with or without connectors. Typical FC/UPC, FC/APC, SC/UPC, SC/APC connector types are standard, while other types are available upon request.
