The Schmitt SB-1700 Portable Balancer is a rugged vibration measurement and balancing kit that you can use on all your rotating equipment including grinding wheels, fans, turbines, and other devices. The kit provides analysis and tells the user where to add, remove, or place weights to achieve balance, and includes all the items you need to immediately start balancing faster and more efficiently.

The SB-1700 Portable Balancer operates from 30 to 60,000 RPM with a laser speed sensor that works from a comfortable distance (0.1-2.0 m). The Schmitt vibration sensor is accurate, reliable and small enough to fit into those tight areas. Vibration display is selectable from English or metric and acceleration or displacement units.

All items needed to immediately start your vibration or balancing program is in the easy to carry bag. The standard system is set up with a single vibration sensor for single plane balancing. If you need dual plane balancing, simply purchase an additional Schmitt vibration sensor (p/n SB-1710) and plug it in. The standard software and hardware in the unit allows the user the option of either single plane or dual plane balancing.
