This product has set the standard for performance and versatility worldwide. Taking advantage of high-capacity, low-cost transmission components developed for the 1310 nm window this fiber is optimised for low dispersion in the 1310 nm wavelength region but can also be effectively used in the 1550 nm region.
Produced through the OVD manufacturing process SMF-28 has excellent product consistency as well as optical, mechanical and geometrical performances which exceed the specification of ITU-T G.652.A .
