A three terminal, fully calibrated non-contact temperature sensor, which provides a digital output compatible with the Maxim/Dallas Semiconductor 1-Wire® bus. 1-Wire compatibility insures true multi-drop operation along with other 1-Wire bus products. Requires only three wires for operation (power, ground and data). Features includeAn integrated 14.3° FOV lens. The low power consumption (750mA max) makes the DXNCT02 an ideal choice for battery-operated equipment. Full factory calibration results in a maximum calibration error of ±2.0°C for target temperatures from -40°C to +100°C over an ambient temperature range of 0 to 50°C. There are 2 standard calibration temperature ranges -40 to 100°C and -40 to 200°C. Since calibration resides in the smart sensors itself, the DXNCT02 is extremely valuable to design engineers for its ease of use. No external calibration required. Advanced software, available for LabView, MatLab, MathCAD, as well as “C” applications program interface, allow for compensation of emissivity, target area fill, background emissivity, background temperature, and down-welling sky temperature. Applications: Non-contact temperature measurement for battery-operated test equipment andmulti-drop 1-Wire bus applications in commercial and industrial process monitoring
