Scanning stage for use with micromanipulators

Prior Scientific has recently launched a new line of motorised stages to complement the latest inverted research microscopes. Designed to give completely unobstructed access to the specimen area, the H117 ProScan stages are perfect for use with micromanipulators. As the drive mechanism is mounted on the underside of the stage, there is virtually no restriction on the angle such manipulators can be positioned at. For Live Cell Imaging applications, the H117 has also been specifically configured to fit within the constraints of the most common incubation chambers in use. In terms of performance the stage allows complete viewing of all commercial multi-well plates with a travel range of 115 x 77mm. The H117 uses Priors’ existing system of interchangeable sample holders making it compatible with 3 x 1” glass slides (single or multiple), Petri dishes of up to 100mm diameter, chamber slides, flasks and multi-well plates. With repeatability of better than 1um and metric accuracy of +/- 5um the H117 stages are suitable for even the most demanding applications.
