SCHOTT expands its light source accessories with the addition of the DCR III Remote Light Source Kit, which allows remote operation of the lamp head for energy chain and robot arm applications.
The DCR III Remote Light Source Kit offers all of the DC regulated performance of the DCR III in a remote package. The Modulamp unit of the DCR III is used with this kit to allow the light head to operate in potentially harmful environments while the power supply remains at a safe distance.
The DCR III Remote Light Source Kit is perfect for dynamic robotic arm applications where a fiber optic bundle may be damaged in time due to the repeated movement. The lightweight and compact housing can be mounted directly onto the moving arm together with the fiber optic light guide. The kit includes a 3 meter shielded extension cord to connect the remote housing to the DCR III base. Longer cable lengths upon request.
