Sensor designed to optically measure color from the liquid

A liquid is filled in a bottle and placed in the cavity of the sensor. The sensor measures color from the liquid optically. 4 light flashes red, yellow, green, and blue are used to measure color. The results of these measurements and calculations color sent to a PC. The letters shown on the screen are the following for the measured values:

RED = red GRE = green YEL = yellow BLU = blue TEM = ambient temperature
