Hohner has entered into a an agreement with Fieldbus International A/S from Norway (Fint). The purpose of this agreement is to outfit our encoders and a fuel sensor with a bus powered Profi PA communication. Hohner will use a modified Profi PA communication board series T480 from Fint. Together with ProfiView and a preliminary GSD file, Hohner will finalize applications in the Oil & Gas industry with its customer base. The encoders and sensors will then be certified for use in hazardous areas. Fint has implemented IEC 1158 communications in various applications for the oil & gas industry while Hohner has a strong reputation in this area with encoders and sensors
