This new generation of rodless cylinders manufactured by AIRTEC has been designed to a state-of-the-art specification and offers a number of benefits to the user.
The newly designed sealing system of these cylinders improves the operating characteristics and reduces the likelihood of leakages.
The optimized aluminium profile makes it possible to integrate proximity sensors and fastening elements in a groove. The profile design itself reduces the tube's propensity to expand and twist, so that the service life of the cylinder can be extended.
The comprehensive program includes several options, cylinders with slide ways and roller guides being available in both a standard and short version.
The standard option includes a face-to-face dimension that is geared to the installation space customarily provided.
Furthermore, the new sealing system made it possible to introduce a short version, as a result of which it becomes possible to significantly reduce the basic face-to-face dimension.
All cylinders are optionally available with integrated valves, which may also be controlled via a multi-pin connection or an actuator-sensor interface (AS-i).
The diameters 25,32 and 40 mm make up the first stage in this new generation of cylinders. The imminent expansion of the product line will further complement the program.
