The SETSYS Evolution line of analyzers are now the benchmark of thermal analyzers. They are leaders regarding high-accuracy measurement even when experimental conditions are complex.
They can be distinguished by:
• their wide temperature range: from –150 up to 2400°C
• their modularity: the various measurement modules (DTA, DSC, TGA, TMA) are built around the same structure and can be interchanged
• their unique measurement performance
The SETSYS Evolution line is equipped with SETSOFT 2000, the thermal analysis software from SETARAM.
The furnace and gas circuits design offers to work under varied and controlled atmospheres.

SETSYS Evolution TGA presents a configuration in which the microbalance is in upper position. It is available in two capacities (35 or 100 g). The microbalance is well adapted for the analysis of micro-quantities of sample (a few milligrams) up to bulky and dense samples, while maintaining a measuring resolution equivalent to a microgram, whatever the mass analyzed. It possesses at the same time great stability, fidelity and sensitivity due to a high-performance, optical and electronic detection fitting.
A DTA or DSC transducer can be hung and connected to the microbalance so as to obtain a simultaneous TG-DTA or TG-DSC measurement.
There are four types of transducer:
• tricouple DTA transducer
• monocouple protected DTA transducer
• tungsten, very high temperature DTA transducer
• DSC-type plate transducer
