With Shotscope® tools, it is now possible to collect up-to-the-minute information about every shot on select machines (maximum of 4), through an instrumentation system that monitors, measures and analyzes the die casting process. It provides real-time, statistical process control (SPC) information derived directly from sensors interfaced to each die casting machine. Shotscope® FX provides a cost effective solution to your monitoring and analysis needs. With the Shotscope® FX system, you can:
- Monitor any die cast system, even the fastest production systems.
- Acquire data from up to 36 input channels: 8 analog, 12 digital, and 16 single-points (thermocouples).
- Collect up to 2000 data points on every shot, for each analog channel.
- Store up to 50 process parameters for each machine, on every shot.
- Evaluate the die cast process with powerful process analysis tools.
- Display the real-time status of every job.
- Detect and classify downtime.
- Identify and categorize scrap.
- Use the HTML Document Viewer to display embedded formatted text, tables, pictures, video and audio in shop-floor documents.
- Create documents that conform to IS0 9000, ISO 14000, QS9000, FDA, and specific customer requirements.
