DOS, Inc. designs and builds laser diode arrays (LDAs) to customer specifications, ranging from continuous wave (CW) to QCW and pulsed arrays, from G-packaged running stack configurations of 12 bars to submodule-based cooled pump arrays of up to 720 bars. We specialize in advanced high-power LDAs for use in challenging military applications, such as direct illumination and high-energy laser pumping.

We use patented mounting / packaging techniques for laser diode bars that allow maximum flexibility in configuration design. The cooling technique used on an array depends on its heat dissipation, and varies from conduction packages to leading edge microchannel cooling.
