Our new smd 6000 has RS232 control and advanced switchmode technology integrated directly into the PCB alongside the laser temperature control and monitoring systems. The technology is extremely power-efficient, dissipating less heat and thus removing the need for cooling fans. This greatly reduces mechanical vibration and the physical size, as well as making the unit virtually silent in operation.
