The Solartron 3098 gas specific gravity transducer, which is based on the Solartron 7812 gas density transducer, is the industry standard for direct measurement of gas specific density. The 3098 is the latest development in a product line well established as the industry standard for gas gravitometers. The Solartron 3098 gas specific gravity transducer is the only product that offers continuous online measurements as well as the highest accuracy and resolution available today.
The 3098 gas measurement unit is able to respond quickly and dynamically to process conditions, as well as being able to self compensate for gas compressibility. It can also be used to determine base/relative density and make inferred measurements of Wobbe Index and calorific value.
Features/Benefits Direct on-line measurement of specific gas or normal density Highest accuracy and resolution available today Self compensation for gas compressibility Fast, dynamic response to process conditions Intrinsically safe Applications Standard volume metering Custody transfer Quality analysis Energy management Wobbe Index Specific gravity measurement Calculation of calorific value using AGA 5 Relative density measurement Fuel quality checking/management.
