Nanoptics has synthesized a unique set of fluorescent dyes which exhibit negligible reabsorption (Large Stokes Shift). Their properties are compared to the well-known dye 3HF. These properties are shown in the table below. All of the dyes are radiation-hard and very stable.

These dyes may be used as follows:

- A single fluor in plastic or liquid scintillator, especially where long light paths are required

- A wavelength shifter fluor in plastic or liquid scintillator where long light paths are required

- A single fluor in a plastic or liquid Cerenkov detector where large light paths are required
