Swing dynamometer providing real time tracking of golf swings
Go Golf contracted Bauer to develop the Swing Dynamometer, which integrates optical and radar sensor data to provide real time tracking of golf swings. The three dimensional club position, as well as all angular orientations, are measured 5,000 times per second. The data is gathered and processed by a computer to provide immediate feedback to the golfer on any of a variety of selected swing parameters.
Bauer has also developed the Swingalyzer, a laser based, club mounted instrument that provides real time performance feedback for swing training.
