Charlyrobot moves to the 4th axis
For the first time, charlyrobot exhibited a CNC milling machine with a 4th axis, during the Print’or fair located in Lyon from the 6th to the 8th of february 2005.
400 clock-making and jewel smith’s art brands were present at this exhibition. This fair give the opportunity to the French company to exhibit a charly4U, a CNC milling machine, able to mill simultaneously on 4 interpolated axis.
Used with a 3D CADCAM adapted to your applications, the 4th charlyrobot axis permits to realise some foundry applications such as rings (machining time: 1h30) or to engrave cylindrical surface area.
Numerous sectors will take profit of the 4th charlyrobot axis : modelling, R&D, wood work and processing, model making, and so on.
The 4th axis is a removable system which is equiped with a tailstock, to maintain the parts pieces until 100 mm of diameter.
The 4th axis is currently available on machines with a brushless motorisation.
The French CNC milling machine designer and manufacturer increases the applications likely to be done with its milling machines and hopes to decline the ultra-compact – nevertheless high performance – machines that has made its succes.
The 4th axis charly4U is exhibited to the public during the EPHJ Fair, that takes place in Lausanne, from the 24th to the 27th of mai, 2005. Stand Dassault Systemes, Halle 7, n°29.
