Like the zone sampler, the spot sampling gauge takes samples at given levels. It has a different operating principle based on a remote control device that is opened by a trigger weight once the gauge has descended to the level where the sample is to be taken.

The spot sampling gauge is fitted with a bottom sampling device, that inspects the tank bottom and detects the presence of liquids such as water.
The spot sampling gauge may also be equipped with a thermometer so that both the sample and its temperature can be obtained in a single operation.
Like all our sampling devices, the spot sampling gauge is fitted with the appropriate seals for the products being sampled in order to ensure perfect tightness and thus an optimum result.
