Modular Time-Frequency generation & distribution equipment Concept
The TimeLink range of equipment's is dedicated to the frequency generation & distribution as well as time generation & distribution over different codes and formats. The modular design of the TimeLink unit allows a wide range of dedicated versions :

VERSION 1 : 6U rack, built from a first 3U time code generator & distribution unit and a second 3U frequency generator & distribution unit.
VERSION 2 : 3U rack unit dedicated to time code generation & distribution.
VERSION 3 : 3U rack unit for frequency generation & distribution
VERSION 4 : 3 U rack unit for both time & frequency generation and distribution.

Features/composition:
19'' rack mount, 3U or 6U, fitted with one or two power supply and one connection board. The connection board is used to connects the processor module and all the functional modules. All modules uses DIN41612 connectors. The space available for the whole modules is 63 TE, this allow 9 modules maximum for a rack. According to users requirements & applications the rack could receives a processor module for equipment control, a frequency control module, input/output modules. The processor module manages the entire equipment, synchronizes the functional modules and takes into account events and alarms coming from the other modules. The front faces equipment's (keyboard, display) are also driven by this module. In small configuration this module is also in charge of remote control management. The control module is only used with configuration including a frequency subsystem. The module is able to manage the signals of 8 frequency modules and to generate an alarm for any problem detected on the frequency outputs. In this case the module provides an information (contact relay) to alert the user on a frequency subsystem breakdown. The control module drives the bi-colors LED's corresponding to each frequency module mounted, in order to find easily the module concerned. Micro switch are used for equipment configuration.
