For filtering aqueous solutions and biological samples

Cellulose acetate is a hydrophilic membrane that provides both excellent flow rates and very low protein binding coefficients. This makes it a good choice for biological assays, gel capsule dissolution and protein sample matrices. See also regenerated cellulose filters that are optimised for biological samples.

All these filters are certified for chromatographic performance
-Protein binding: <24µg/cm˛
-Housing: medical grade virgin polypropylene
-Retention volume: <15µl (4mm), <29µl (17mm), <137µl (30mm)
-Max. operating temp: 100°C
-Max. operating pressure: 75psi (4mm), 115psi (17mm), 90psi (30mm)
-Autoclave: sterilise by dry heat at 121°C for 15 mins
