Designed to solve critical spectroscopy applications requiring high-resolution and stray light reduction, PI/Acton's flexible TriVista system maintains a wide spectral working range. Its powerful software combines an intuitive user interface with maximum access for optimizing the system to sample requirements. The working range spans from 250 to 1050 nm with a typical spectral resolution of < 0.02 nm (all over the range) or 0.2 cm-1 (referred to 500 nm) when utilized with the Spec-10 CCD camera system.
Extreme stray light rejection allows Raman spectra well below 10 cm-1 apart from the Laser’s Raleigh line. Optionally, Stokes and Antistokes can be acquired simultaneously. Additive or subtractive operation are mere keyboard commands with this state-of-the-art design, which also features multiple input/output options and the ability to scan for photon counting. The sample excitation and illumination can be done manually or automated by the integrated system. A sample chamber is available for solid and liquid samples, including polarization options.
A fiber optic transfer is offered along with a multiple entrance option which permits the connection of as many as three sources simultaneously. Multiple detector outlets ensure the use of several detectors, as well as the potential for future applications which require a single or double stage system rather than a triple. This versatile design can be utilized in numerous applications, making it a popular system in a wide spectrum of industries.
