Type 420 Laser engraver: The heavily indented identification marking of high tensile steel alloys (e.g. as on high pressure gas cylinders) is performed by a pulsed Nd:YAG laser engraver. Energy is delivered through a fibre optic cable to a focusing lens, which is manipulated by a coordinating unit to form characters.
