High Power: The UPL-20 is a rugged, diode-pumped, OEM-style, ultrashort pulse laser with high output power: More than 16 W of quasi-cw ps-radiation at 1064 nm directly from the oscillator.




Reliable, perfect pulses: The new Phase-Self-Adjusting Mode-locking (PSM) is a LUMERA LASER innovation. It offers superior generation of ultra short pulses: Scalable, high power straight from the oscillator, nearly bandwidth-limited ps-pulses (<10ps, 160 MHz) and perfect spatial properties. Designed for hands off operation (efficient lay out; conservative, computer controlled operation conditions) the UPL-20 offers a maximum of reliability. The system is sealed and temperature controlled to be independent of environmental conditions.




Modular Design: The combination of the UPL-20 laser oscillator with the amplifier AMP-20 and/or frequency conversion modules enables the users to choose from a variety of wavelengths and power levels: FCS Frequency Conversion Systems for the generation of 532, 355 and 266nm radiation are presently available. These modules are factory pre-aligned, their monolithic and sealed assembly connects to the laser simply by alignment pins. A rugged synch-pumped OPO-module for multi-watt ps-output at 1.5 µm is available and even high power deep UV ps-radiation at 213 nm can be supplied.
