UltraSpeedStar is the choice for ultra-high-speed imaging with the highest spatial resolution. The CCD camera records 16 or 4 frames with 1280 x 1024 pixels at max 1 MHz rate.

UltraSpeedStar is a compact CCD camera connected with fiber optics to the control computer. It comes as a turn-key system with the well known DaVis software package supporting ultra-high-speed measurement and analysis for e.g. spray analysis and PIV.

The camera is easily upgraded with an image intensifer leading to highest sensitivity also in the UV range.

UltraSpeedStar is easily synchronised to different laser light sources, i.e. copper vapour lasers, diode pumped solid state lasers or flash lamps.

LaVision offers diode pumped solid state (DPSS) lasers with up to 100 kHz repetition rate and excellent beam profile for superior light sheet generation.
