VIRTU ultrasonic proximity sensors extend the offering of reliable object detection where simple On/Off automatic switch control is required. Like with the SUPERPROX* sensors, VIRTU sensors us the latest ultrasonic technology to ensure the ultimate in sensing reliability through a discriminating micro-processor program, but at a more economical price.The VIRTU sonic sensors utilize a sensing window to perform repeatable detection of objects either inside or outside two set limits. The sensing window limits are set through a pushbutton setup or teach function. The pushbutton is not resident to the sensor. Through an external pushbutton connection with the sensor, the two limits for setting up the sensing window are set. With the limits set, VIRTU detects only those objects that are within a set “window” and ignores all others
