ChromSolutions (Hemel Hempstead UK) has announced that as of 1st October 2004 it will be representing Schmidlin AG for its unique range of Laboratory, process and Industrial gas generation systems.

Amongst Schmidlin's most recent innovations are the No Maintenance (NM) Hydrogen generator and the Ultra High Pure Air (UHP) generator. The NM -H2 Hydrogen generator uses the newest membrane technology available for electrolytic production of Hydrogen including exclusive no maintenance auto-drying technology. The patented Schmidlin NM Hydrogen generator is ideal for use as fuel and carrier gas for GC and GC/MS applications, hydrogenation reactions in synthesis chemistry and plasma chambers for ICP.

The NMH2 only needs a clean source of deionised water to produce Hydrogen on a trouble free long term basis compared with those that need to use caustic solutions.. just add water. The small contained volume of the NM2 makes it safe to operate in spaces where use of cylinder Hydrogen is restricted. An auto shut procedure puts the unit in standby in the event of an internal error. Several NM-H2 generators can be linked in a cascade to increase output and also put under Pc control. The Ultra Pure air generators remove CO and HC pollutants to less than 0.1ppm and Nox and CO2 to 1ppm. Operation of this generator requires low levels of air consumption and electrical power. This complete turnkey system is engineered with highest quality components, is easy to install and requires only minimal annual maintenance.
