The Uniscan model OSP100A is a 3D Laser Profilometer designed for high accuracy non-contact measurement of surface topography profile, form and texture measurement. Utilising a laser displacement sensor, the OSP100A measures surface topography in the range 10's of millimetres to sub-micrometers, over area's up to 100mm x 75mm. The Model OSP100A is a cost effective, bench top profilometer with a very high level of performance.

Applications of the Uniscan OSP100A 3D Non-Contact Surface Measurement - Profiling system include large area roughness measurement, non-contact component measurement, turbine blade damage, gear wear, paper surface profiling, profiling of skin, leather, and any other application that requires fast, large area, high accuracy, non-contact height measurement.

The OSP100A simply plugs into the parallel (printer) port of a PC, and all scanning and data acquisition parameters are accessible within the Windows™ 32 bit control and analysis software. This advanced software package, includes mathematical algorithms for digital filtering, tilt correction, and non contact dimensional measurement, including angles, radii, and a full range of surface roughness parameters.

Non-contact surface profiling line profiles can be scanned at up to 256,000 data points per line of data, and 3D non contact surface profiling area maps at many giga samples per map.
