The decisive advantage of a user-friendly evacuated blood collection system is that no further requirements are necessary to obtain a clearly defined quantity of blood from the patients’ vein. VACUETTE® tubes can be quickly and hygienically changed minimising the risk of the phlebotomist coming into contact with the patients' blood.

An essential point in regards to the user friendliness of the complete system is that all individual components are optimally compatible with one another.

The components of the VACUETTE® System are:

Glass clear plastic tubes made of PET
Safety cap
Blood collection holders (various models available)

Alternatively:

Multi-sample needles with safety valve or Luer needle
Luer adapter with butterfly

Additionally:

VACUETTE® tourniquet
VACUETTE® disposal containers
