Dimensional measurements 2D/3D

The VISIOSCOPE software toolbox allows the carrying out of multiple measurements, such as of width, height, thickness, diameter, or angle, as well as of many combinations involving two types of extremes (edge, corner, point, center of circle, etc…). The large amount of information used as well as certain patented algorithms allow the obtaining of a level of precision superior to that of the sensor; the subpixel technique can go up to 1/8 pixel (as verified in the field over the long term!).

Dimensional control in 2 dimensions

Distance measurement between 2 extremes:
- The edge of a piece, middle of an edge
- A segment - a point - the center of a circle
- The center of an arc
- The edge of a thread

In other words, any characteristic point on an object to be measured.
- Measurement of perimeters of objects
- Measurement of angles
- Checking of straightness

Example of application:
Measurements of deformation on rocket booster
(precision 1/30 pixel in 3D)
