The VM-9800 Laser Diode Test and Burn-In System is a next generation design created specifically for manufacturing from optimally designed functional modules. It is a well supported and cost effective alternative to internal design and fabrication. The highly flexible VM-9800 system gives you the viable option of outsourcing test equipment requirements by giving you a system that meets your existing needs and is upgradeable for your future needs too. VM-9800 Test and Burn-in Systems are based on a compact laser diode controller with embedded microprocessor and memory, flexible device mounting options, and object oriented software to tie the system together and manage data collection. Each Device-Under-Test (DUT) slot can be optimized for test conditions unique to your manufacturing parameters. Depending on current and heat sink requirements, up to 32 DUT's and their drivers can be mounted in a single 3.5 inch drawer, and up to 10 drawers mounted in a single cabinet. This high density conserves expensive clean room space, providing tangible operating cost savings. The burn-in and test system is scalable with additional drawers and racks.
