The Sentinel is a simple, low cost, and rugged, single channel vibration protection monitor that is capable of operating in remote, unattended, and harsh environments. The Sentinel Vibration.
Monitor is simple to install and operate. It can trigger built-in solid state relays based on configurable alarm levels. Additionally there is a built-in time delay that prevents false trips, or triggering of the alarm functions from transient increases in vibration level during normal operation.
The Sentinel is simple to install, and mounts directly onto the machine skid or bearing housing to measure the vibration. Typical applications include vibration protection monitoring for cooling tower fans, centrifuges, and electric motors.

FEATURES:
- Options for measuring vibration in two axes or using an external accelerometer.
- Measurement in acceleration or velocity.
- Solid State Relay to switch AC or DC Loads.
- Adjustable, variable filters to reject unwanted signals and pass signals of interest.
- Buffered output via standard two-wire internal connection or optional external BNC connector.
- Global regulatory compliance approvals (refer to approvals in specifications).
- Two adjustable alarm levels.
- 4-20mA output proportional to overall vibration level for use with a panel meter, DCS, or other instrumentation.

Configuration:
Alarm and Danger setpoints can be set locally using a simple multi-meter.
The default settings (see Table 1) for all other parameters may be changed by temporarily connecting a computer, via serial port, and running the included configuration program. Once changed the new default settings are permanently retained in non-volatile memory
