New Camera Tube XQ1072N

This new XQ1072N Plumbicon tube is produced solely to replace the no longer existent Newvicon types XQ1440X, XQ1440XS, S4076X and the X-icon type TV9800X (CdZnTe). There may still be a a few Newvicon and Xicon tubes left in the world if you are lucky enough to find them. MII still had a few remaining in inventory at last count. The newly produced XQ1072N tube will help take the sting out of the departure of the Newvicons and X-icons.

XQ7002 Replacement Camera Tube

MII announces the availability of a new Philips Plumbicon replacement camera tube for the Toshiba mtv32d, mtv34d, mtv35d, and mtv37d medical x-ray camera systems. This new tube plugs into the same socket as the original EN5455/BSM40-5312, EN5457/BSM40-5365 and H4141 camera tubes.
The new XQ7002 has all the positive operating characteristics of the Philips Plumbicon photoconductor including low lag, low output capacitance, excellent signal uniformity, low dark current, and years of proven performance in the field. Considerable cost savings are an added benefit of the new XQ7002. The end users now have a choice of replacement tubes for their Toshiba imaging systems.
