MEI's ZMP-SynqNet-PCI is an ultra-performance SynqNet® motion controller that provides machine builders with the ultimate in high-performance motion control. The 64-bit ZMP controller from MEI utilizes the Motorola MPC8245 PowerPC processor for optimum flexibility and speed. With a significant increase in processing power, the ZMP family of controllers are optimized to work with MEI’s MechaWareTM for the ultimate in precision control schemes.
SynqNet® network interface provides high-speed synchronous network connection to drives and I/O modules.
Motion control powered by a real-time 64-bit floating point (double precision) - Motorola MPC8245 PowerPC/ 133 MHz Memory.
Supports up to 32 tightly coordinated axes.
Servo update rates: 24kHz for 4 axes, 16kHz for 8 axes.
Programmable with the MPI (C/C++), the MPX (ActiveX®) for programs like VisualBasic® and LabView®.
Program with Matlab/Simulink® via MechaWareTM plug-in suite from MEI
Support for Windows® XP, Windows NT, Windows 2000, VenturCom®, VxWorks® and other real-time operating systems.
